March 2010 Baby hip health week 13th-19th March 2010 was lead by the national UK charity STEPS with support from the NHS and the NHS newborn and infant physical examination program. The campaign highlighted the lack of consistency in terms of referral, the impact of late diagnosis and the lack of quality of information from hospitals regarding care of children in hip spica casts bbc news article
